Welcome in The Bistro
The Bistro is a timeless and pleasant brasserie-restaurant, situated on the Wapper, between the Meir and Schuttershofstraat. Our classic and inviting atmosphere offers a delightful escape from the city’s buzz. Have a seat in our leather banquette seating and admire our characterful interior with wooden panelling and antique brass details.
The menu features classic French-Belgian favourites such as Steak Tartare, Vol-au-Vent & Sole à la Meunière, along with English classics like Fish & Chips or the Full English Breakfast, as well as seasonal specialties including asparagus, mussels or satisfying game dishes. The Bistro is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or simply for a drink accompanied with pastries.

Terrace update De Wapper
Due to the planned redevelopment of De Wapper, The Bistro’s terrace will temporarily relocate from April 4 to Het Koetshuis, located behind the Paleis op de Meir.
At this location, we will open a satellite of The Bistro, where you can continue to enjoy all the familiar pleasures of The Bistro in the open air. Indoor seating will also be available. While the offering will be slightly more limited than at our main location, the same care for quality, atmosphere and hospitality remains.
Important: The Bistro on De Wapper remains fully open during the works. You are welcome every day for breakfast, lunch, coffee and pastries, and dinner in our familiar setting.

Reserve Your Table
Use our online booking system to reserve a table for up to 8 people. Please include any comments or special requests with your reservation. However, it is not possible to reserve a specific table. Please do not hesitate to contact us by phone on +32 3 232 36 75 for urgent questions or last-minute reservations.
Notice
Due to the works on the Wapper, our terrace has been temporarily relocated to the garden of "Het Koetshuis" at the Meir Palace, just across the square. The Bistro remains open and accessible throughout the works.
If you wish to reserve a table on the terrace, please tick “Terrace if weather permits” when making your reservation. In case of bad weather, your table will be prepared inside The Bistro.
If you specifically wish to reserve indoors in "Het Koetshuis", please mention this when making your reservation.
In all other cases, we prepare your table as usual in The Bistro.

Groups
The timeless class of The Bistro sets the ideal mood for your next occasion. Our chef has prepared set menus filled with our signature French-Belgian classics for groups of 13 to 30 people during lunch (except on Saturdays) and 13 to 60 people for dinner (from 20h on Saturdays).
